I'm New

Welcome

We're so happy you've found our website! It is easy to be nervous about anything that is new. We hope you will take some time to get to know us virtually through the following information. However, we also hope you will take an opportunity to get to know us in person.

What To Expect on Your First Visit

When you visit someone’s home, you usually walk in through the front door to a living room. Our  Sunday morning service at 10:30am is the “living room” of our ministry. We try to build our services to encourage authentic worship through music, prayer, and challenging preaching. We hope you will sense the presence of our God and the friendship of our people.

We would also encourage you to experience the practical teaching and somewhat less formal feel of our Wednesday night services. These meet at 6:30 pm While the adults meet in the auditorium for a time of bible study, our Grace Kids Impact (3 years-old through 6th grade) and LinC Ministry (7th-12th grade) also gather together.

The best way to really get to know the people of Grace Gospel Church is through one of our Adult Bible Studies. These groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am Check out the list of classes under the connect tab to find a group that fits you!

The main entrance to our facility is  located at the rear of the building,  which is off the main parking lot!

When We Meet

Sunday School begins at 9:30 am
Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10:30 am
Wednesday Activities begin at 6:30 pm

Wondering about God?

If you want to know the truth about God, you are in a great position! According to Jesus, people who really want to know Him will find Him.

People looking for God come in all shapes and sizes. They come from all walks of life, and many different backgrounds. Some aren’t sure God exists.  Others believe in God, but they aren’t sure how to connect with Him. One thing all of these people have in common is that they have realized they don’t have all the answers. They are open to the possibility that God may exist and, more importantly, He may have a purpose and design for their lives. They don’t know for sure, but they want to know.

If this describes you, where do you start? Here are a few questions to help you in your search.

HOW CAN I BEGIN A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?

Beginning a relationship with God starts with determining your eternal destination. Do you know for sure you are going to Heaven? If God were to ask you, “Why should I let you into My heaven?” what would you say? These may be difficult questions for you to answer. If you don’t know the answer, what follows is the best news you could ever hear!

Did you know the Bible tells us that we can know for sure that we have eternal life and will go to be with God in heaven? Read on to find out how! I John 5:13

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ETERNAL LIFE

1.First, heaven is a free gift! This gift not earned or deserved, and no amount of personal effort, good works, or religious activity can earn a place in heaven for you. Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9

2.The Bible tells us that the reason none of us can earn his way to heaven is because each of us has sinned. Sin is transgressing God’s law and includes such things as lying, lust, cheating, deceit, evil thoughts, immoral behavior, and more. Because of this sin, man cannot save himself and get into heaven on his own merit. If a person wanted to save himself based on his good deeds, the Bible says he would have to be perfect! I sure don’t measure up. Do you? Romans 3:23, Matthew 5:48

3. We know that God loves every one of us, and He does not want to punish us. Instead, He wants to have a real relationship with each one of us and give each of us eternal life with Him. However, God is also just, which means He must punish sin. This presents us with a problem. God loves us, and He doesn’t want to punish us. However He is just, so He must punish our sin. The Bible says the punishment for our sin is eternity in a literal hell. I John 4:8, Jeremiah 31:3, Exodus 34:7, Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 6:23

4.However, there is good news! God solved this problem for us through Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus Christ? The Bible tells us that He is God, and that He died on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins and rose from the dead to purchase eternal life in heaven. When Christ was on the cross, God the Father laid the punishment for our sins on Him! John 1:1, 14; Isaiah 53:6

5.This free gift of eternal life is received by faith. Faith is not merely believing that God exists. The Bible says that the devils believe God exists, but they certainly won’t be in heaven! Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. It means resting upon Christ alone and what He has done rather than in what you or I have done to get us into heaven. Acts 16:3

WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE?

Because this is such an important matter, let’s clarify just what it involves. Salvation means that you need to:

Transfer your trust to what Christ has done for you on the cross.

Accept Christ as your Savior. Open the “door” to your heart and invite Him into your life. Revelation 3:20

Receive Jesus Christ as Lord. Give Him the “driver’s seat” and “controls” of your life, not the “back seat.”

Repent. Be willing to turn from anything that is not pleasing to Him. He will reveal His will to you as you grow in your relationship with Him.

Now, if this is what you really want, you can go to God in prayer right where you are.

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:10, 13

If you want to receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, then call on Him, asking Him for this gift right now.

Here’s a suggested prayer:

“Lord Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. Lord Jesus, come into my life; take control of my life; forgive my sins and save me. I repent of my sins and now place my trust in You for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life.”

If this prayer is the sincere desire of your heart, look at what Jesus promises to those who believe in Him:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.” John 6:47

If you have truly repented of your sins, placed your trust in Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death, and received the gift of eternal life, you are now a child of God! Forever! Welcome to the family of God!

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:12
If you have just received Christ’s gift of eternal life, your relationship with God has just begun!
